hi. knowing that there are quite a number of people here who's up with reading. what is the prefference of your reading? what will you choose to read? any favourite authors? any favourite publisher? will you read because its on the top ten of the best sellers? will you care on the review before reading it? any particular author that while his or her latest book is publish, you will definitely get it?

For a few years now I've been really interested in fantasy and some science fiction. I like books that I can get completely lost in. I also like historical fiction and memoirs, especially the more humorous ones.

I read *alot. It's not uncommon for me to read at least 2 books a week. I mostly stick to scifi, fantasy, and mysteries, though sometimes I will read something else if it sounds interesting enough. I rarely ever know what's on the top 10 types of lists; often times books that a lot of people think are just excellent I don't like as much. If you like fantasy, I'd definitely suggest Mercedes Lackey, Terry Goodkind, or Tamora Pierce. Also, Anne McCaffrey and Piers Anthony do both scifi and fantasy, and have some very good works. As for scifi, Robert Heinlein will always stand out in my mind as one of the best writers of the genre ever, though his works were written a while ago. I don't always agree with him, but he always has made me think, and I agree with what he writes more often than I disagree. Also, Orson Scott Card is another author that has done very good works in both the fantasy and scifi genres. For mysteries, I sadly have never been very good at remembering authors of mysteries, but if people want, drop me a line, and I'll look up some of my favorite authors for that area as well.

I like books with tactile pictures, even though the majority of these are children's books. I also mostly like reading books that are funny, and express an interesting point of view on something. I also like books that have almost anything having to do with medical stuff or otherwise informative stuff. I like books that depict what it is like in certain fields of work and that take place at that place, especially in medical and educational ones, such as doctors in hospitals and teachers at school. So I have several fiction and nonfiction books involving that. I also like nonfiction books that inform or tell about personal experiences with disabilities, especially autism and Asperger syndrome. And I like books where I can learn something about different countries such as the food and cultures. Also, if I could get ahold of various dictionaries, I'd probably read those as well. In short, I love reading anything that interests me and where I can learn something.

Yeah. If the Language Master talking dictionary could ever be made to be upgraded, even if I'd have to keep sending it to the company for that, I'd happily buy one to take almost everywhere and would always be using it. *smile*

Although I mostly like nonfiction, I also like some fiction, but am pretty picky on those. I like Huc Finn, Catcher in the Rye, The Accidental Tourist, some books by Dr. Seuss, the books about Wayside School, and probably some others I can't think of at the moment.

I absolutely love reading. I have a wide variety of genres that I like. Every two months, I get the Braille bookk review from my state library, and I usually just go through that to pick the books that I want to read. I love both fiction and nonfiction. As I said, I enjoy a wide variety of genres, and I am also another person who loves reading things that can teach you something. I also enjoy reading cookbooks, and learning about other cultures, etc.

I also enjoy reading classic children's books, as well.

I am a fiction mainly fan. Although I love to read cookbooks, especially old ones. In the past few years, my reading span has broadened. I am willing to try new authors.

I love the Harry Potter books. I also like The Chronicles Of Narnia, Eragon, The Princess Diaries, The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants, Holes, Nancy Drew, and when I was younger, I read the Babysitters Club and GooseBumps. I also like books by Mary Higgins Clark. I like some other ones I can't remember.

I'd read anything that seems real enough. I mean even for fantasy. I read Harry Potter because it just seems so real, and I can relate to so many characters
